Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The Palcomix comic. Bbmbbf does the art and coloring, I write the story and commission the artwork. The next chapter will be begining shortly. Let me know if you need more info.

Well, The most common programs I guess is photoshop and illustrator. Photoshop for bitmap art and Illustrator for vector.
Here you can read about the difference "[link]" I suggest you start with Photoshop as it is the closest to classic drawing. Then you need a scanner to scan your sketches. A normal digital camera should work also if you just use the sketch as reference. There is a ton of tutorials on the web and here on deviantart on how you ink and colour. You should browse through some of these "[link]" And you should problably find what you are looking for. It problably looks harder then it is. The hard part is the creative and artistic part and you seem to have that down
